WEST COAST ADVENTURES AIRS ON NOVUS

Dear West Coast Adventurers,
Starting February 8, 2010 till June 11, 2010, Novus Network (www.novusnow.ca) will be airing episodes from the first season of WEST COAST ADVENTURES. Novus will be broadcasting the show on the Novus Network Community Channel every day, twice a day at 1:00 PM and then again at 6:30 PM.
Novus provides Internet, television, and digital phone service to condominiums and apartments in Metro Vancouver through a state-of-the-art Fibre-to-the-Building (FTTB) network. Currently, Novus reaches close to 20,000 viewers (mostly in the downtown core) through its network.
Stand by for more information about the upcoming exciting 2nd season of WEST COAST ADVENTURES set to premiere in early April on PBS stations across the Pacific Northwest. More details to come.

SEASON 2 COMING SPRING OF 2010

Dear West Coast Adventurers,
We are excited to announce that the second season of WEST COAST ADVENTURES is scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2010. Shot entirely in HD, the second season will continue to feature the very best adventures, attractions and destinations throughout British Columbia and beyond.
Some of these include, mountain biking and summer dog sledding in Whistler, grizzly bear watching and snorkelling with the salmon in Bella Coola, sturgeon fishing in the Fraser Canyon, hang gliding in Salt Spring Island, humpback whale watching in Prince Rupert, swimming with the seals in Nanaimo, white water rafting in Lytton, airplane gliding in Hope and cruising to Alaska to explore this great state, just to name a few.

OCTOBER AIR DATES

Dear West Coast Adventurers,
On Sunday, October 18th, KCTS 9 (PBS) will be airing 2 episodes of West Coast Adventures back to back.
Starting at 6:00 PM, the episode on Harrison Hot Springs will air featuring this charming community plus the world class sand sculpting competition. You'll also get to see Susie reel in a magnificent 6 foot prehistoric sturgeon in this show.
At 6:30 PM, the episode on Fort Langley will air. Susie experiences life as it was in 1858 at this fur trade post established by the Hudson Bay Company. Susie learns the intricate art of barrel making and witnesses how metal tools where made at this national historic site. Finally, Susie paddles down the Fraser River on a Voyageur Canoe to authentically recreate the annual tradition of the arrival of the Fur Brigade boats at Fort Langley.
These are 2 episodes you surely don't want to miss.
